This happy dash dot pattern started out as a mark-making experiment in Rebecca’s sketchbook – she loved how the repetition of these simple shapes combined to create a new pattern. Marconi, located on the national seashore in Wellfleet Cape Cod, was the site of the first transatlantic wireless communication in 1903. The dots and dashes of this pattern reminded Rebecca of the idea of signals being shared across the ocean. For pillow fabric details please click here .

Rebecca Atwood Designs Perennial Blooms Fabric in Multi Goldenrod
Household

Rebecca Atwood Designs Perennial Blooms Fabric in Multi Goldenrod

Use this fabric indoors or out. This design began as a larger painting on paper, playing with the shape of a simple flower. Rebecca pushed her brush onto the paper repetitively in different colors to create this field of blooms. After creating the original artwork, she enlarged the scale to add playfulness. For a more abstract layout, use this pattern on smaller pieces, like a pillow, or embrace the garden experience and use it on patio furniture or a kitchen banquette. The multi-colored design makes it easy to build a color palette. This colorway is available while supplies last.

Rebecca Atwood Designs Linear Cloud Wallpaper in White Pearl

Like most, this pattern began in Rebecca’s sketchbook. She was playing around with a new small brush and admiring the line quality. She started painting arched shapes that were reminiscent of clouds, which she then explored as a larger painting. We love that patterns can become the backdrop to our lives and help us create an environment. Inspired by the sky, this textural pattern will add atmosphere to a room. The finish has a slight sheen that reflects light beautifully. This wallpaper is a part of our Archive Collection.

Lines of ink crisscross for a soft , richly textured effect. We think of it like a soft, insulating layer of pine needles on the forest floor—the perfect foundation to build a retreat-like space. It’s a pattern that pairs well with almost any other print, thanks to our broad range of colorways from faded black to ice blue. This wallpaper is a part of our Archive Collection.

Rebecca Atwood Designs Horizon Fabric in Shore

This fabric is intended for indoor use. For our first “solid” fabric, Rebecca wanted something that would be durable and a great basic, but that also made it easier to layer within a color palette—or even build one from. We rarely see flat colors in big swaths in nature. Our natural world is so complex. We see a field of grass, but it’s full of tonal variation and movement. She wanted to explore this concept in an upholstery fabric as if you covered your sofa in a natural landscape. This fabric is available as a pillow here .

Rebecca Atwood Designs Blocks Fabric in Sage/Marine

This woven quality reminds Rebecca of needlepoint. Her great-aunt Libby was an avid needle-pointer and growing up, she had needlepoint seat cushions at her dining table, and little framed pieces hanging on the wall. Rebecca wanted to explore something graphic because the weave is so textural. She looked to small, geometric, vintage patterns – like the ones you’d find on the inside of a book cover. This fabric is available as a pillow here .

Rebecca wanted each one to look sunwashed. PALE GOLDENROD has a little ochre in it that makes it stronger than a butter yellow, but it’s faded and softer than our other goldenrods and as versatile as natural linen. Rebecca Atwood Designs Floret Pillow in Brown/Mauve
Household

Rebecca Atwood Designs Floret Pillow in Brown/Mauve

A small vintage fabric cutting Rebecca found in Tokyo, Japan inspired this fabric. It was a small-scale print that read geometric, but also like a floral. She loved this idea for a textural woven and redrew the motif, adding the softness of her hand and increasing the size so that it would translate well as a woven. She thought a lot about the landscape textures and how we need these textures in our home to create the environment that feels best to us. Use this fabric to cover a sofa in a field of flowers, but viewed at a distance for a soft and easy vibe.
