This woven quality reminds Rebecca of needlepoint. Her great-aunt Libby was an avid needle-pointer and growing up, she had needlepoint seat cushions at her dining table, and little framed pieces hanging on the wall. Rebecca wanted to explore something graphic because the weave is so textural. She looked to small, geometric, vintage patterns – like the ones you’d find on the inside of a book cover. This fabric is available as a pillow here .

Rebecca Atwood Designs Bricks Fabric in Blue/Green
This pattern started as a color experiment in Rebecca’s sketchbook as she played with layering blocks of color next to one another in tonal shades (or in the case of the multi-colored one – the occasional pop). She loved the subtle variation that happened, and process of slowly building a motif bit by bit. This fabric is available as a pillow here .

Rebecca Atwood Designs Market Stripe Fabric in Graphite
Use this fabric indoors or out. Our Market Stripe was inspired by a vintage fabric from a flea market trip, and Rebecca reinterpreted this classic stripe as a heavier and more durable performance fabric. We love the width of the stripe—it has breathing room. It’s a great way to bring in color and complement a minimal space, or it can be a foundational piece for a rich palette of texture, color, and pattern. This fabric is available as a pillow here .

Rebecca Atwood Designs Gridded Ikat Fabric in Pale Marine
The warmth and hand-drawn detail of Rebecca’s abstract pencil drawings make Gridded Ikat one of our best-selling woven fabrics. In contrast to the casual, dashed-off pattern, it has a nice tight weave that makes it feel smooth and look polished. Use it in a formal living room or a casual breakfast nook—it will look perfect at home in either one. We love Gridded Ikat for its dimensional, organic colors that owe to the special artisan-dyed warp yarn we use to make it. This fabric is available as a pillow here .

Rebecca Atwood Designs Linear Cloud Wallpaper in White Pearl
Like most, this pattern began in Rebecca’s sketchbook. She was playing around with a new small brush and admiring the line quality. She started painting arched shapes that were reminiscent of clouds, which she then explored as a larger painting. We love that patterns can become the backdrop to our lives and help us create an environment. Inspired by the sky, this textural pattern will add atmosphere to a room. The finish has a slight sheen that reflects light beautifully. This wallpaper is a part of our Archive Collection.

Rebecca Atwood Designs Bramble Pillow in Splash Blue
Thickets of berry bushes inspired the name for this indoor upholstery-weight fabric. Woven from a soft, nubby cotton-wool blend, each of the colors contains all the pigments Rebecca would use if she were mixing it with her paints. SPLASH BLUE is bubbling with white that makes it look as effervescent as sea foam. It’s washed, casual, and easy to layer with our other light blues. For pillow fabric details please click here .

Rebecca Atwood Designs Curling Vines Fabric in Violet/Orange
This unfurling botanical pattern has an air of formality that owes not just to its classical motif but also to its very special texture. Made using a heritage French weaving technique called Liser é , this fabric uses our artisan-dyed warp yarn for the ground and a combination of two mercerized cotton yarns and a slub rayon yarn for the raised vine design. The result is a fabric that looks embroidered but in fact comes off the loom with an intricate allover pattern. This fabric is available as a pillow here .

Rebecca Atwood Designs Floret Pillow in Graphite
A small vintage fabric cutting Rebecca found in Tokyo, Japan inspired this fabric. It was a small-scale print that read geometric but also like a floral. She loved this idea for a textural woven and redrew the motif, adding the softness of her hand and increasing the size so that it would translate well as a woven. She thought a lot about landscape textures and how we need these textures in our homes to create the environment that feels best to us. Use this fabric to cover a sofa in a field of flowers, but viewed at a distance for a soft and easy vibe.

Rebecca Atwood Designs Swirled Cloud Wallpaper in Light Blue
Wispy, circular ripples set a scene that’s as warm as a sunset. Rebecca painted each of these clouds individually; we printed them on double-wide wallpaper at a large scale to retain the original artwork's specialness and the expansive feeling of the sky.

Rebecca Atwood Designs Bubbles Coordinate Wallpaper in Cloud
Designed to coordinate with our Bubbles mural to continue the pattern onto a ceiling, this subtle print looks equally lovely on its own. It calls to mind fading seafoam or falling grains of sand, but without the larger mural for context it can also read as floating specks of dust, snow flurries, or tiny drops of beaded rain, all softly illuminated and suspended in motion. Like our Petals pattern, it’s enveloping in a gentle way, and it’s ideal for a quiet, calm environment.

Rebecca Atwood Designs Roses Wallpaper in Purple
Big, loose blooms lighten any room with their carefree lines. Rebecca’s brushstrokes are beautifully visible in the darker, more saturated areas of India ink on the flowers and on the drier, lighter stems.
