A small vintage fabric cutting Rebecca found in Tokyo, Japan inspired this fabric. It was a small-scale print that read geometric but also like a floral. She loved this idea for a textural woven and redrew the motif, adding the softness of her hand and increasing the size so that it would translate well as a woven. She thought a lot about landscape textures and how we need these textures in our homes to create the environment that feels best to us. Use this fabric to cover a sofa in a field of flowers, but viewed at a distance for a soft and easy vibe.

Rebecca Atwood Designs Lattice Pillow in Soft Gray
Lattices help guide rambling vines, and the diamonds of the structure can also add geometry and dimension to a garden. Here the pattern is reduced to a small scale and creates an easy texture for layering other patterns, colors, and textures against. It’s a texture that has a subtle pattern to it and a subtle striation of hue. For pillow fabric details please click here .

Rebecca Atwood Designs Flora Pillow in Blue-Slate
This pattern began as a large painting inspired by memories of vintage textiles in Rebecca's childhood attic. While creating the batik-inspired motifs, she wanted to capture soft unfurling of spring when the air is filled with blooms, buds, and leaves. The colored ground makes this pattern versatile, as you can pair it with patterns that have an ivory ground for an airier look or with other deeper tones for a cozier vibe. The scheme of a room can start with this large repeat, which mixes well with small and mid-sized prints.

Rebecca Atwood Designs Petals Woven Pillow in Rose/Purple
This calm, cocooning pattern began as elongated brushstrokes in Rebecca’s sketchbook. Rebecca Atwood Designs Wildflower Pillow in Navy / Leaf
This pattern was meant to capture the joy of finding little patches of beauty in unexpected places. Rebecca painted the original artwork while working on a series of ideas for florals and drew inspiration for this iteration from the pop of color wildflowers bring to a grassy field and the charm of city flowers that manage to bloom through a crack in the concrete. Rebecca Atwood Designs Sprigs Pillow in Pink-Mauve
This large watercolor floral—a variation on Rebecca’s beloved leaves and dots motif—just might be the collection’s most iconic pattern. Squiggle stems give it a dynamic energy that makes it appear as if it’s in bloom. All of the colorways are bold and impactful, but we’re especially excited about the eggplant and indigo variation. It takes the collection’s palette—and any room’s design—in a rich new direction. For pillow fabric details please click here .

Rebecca Atwood Designs Briar Fabric in Navy/Coral
Use this fabric indoors or out. A briar is a prickly shrub and often the word brings to mind wild roses. Rebecca loves that these plants are tough, but also beautiful. They grow along the beach near her childhood home and have survived hurricanes and nor’easters to bloom the next year. The small crosses also remind her of the first seedlings popping through the dirt when herbs are planted in little pots. This fabric is available as a pillow here .

Rebecca Atwood Designs Curling Vines Fabric in Violet/Orange
This unfurling botanical pattern has an air of formality that owes not just to its classical motif but also to its very special texture. Made using a heritage French weaving technique called Liser é , this fabric uses our artisan-dyed warp yarn for the ground and a combination of two mercerized cotton yarns and a slub rayon yarn for the raised vine design. The result is a fabric that looks embroidered but in fact comes off the loom with an intricate allover pattern. This fabric is available as a pillow here .

Rebecca Atwood Designs Gems Fabric in Blue/Gray
Like most, this pattern began as a painting in Rebecca's sketchbook. She was exploring small shapes and marks to create little gems, which create a playful texture when repeated. Rebecca Atwood Designs Horizon Fabric in Shore
This fabric is intended for indoor use. For our first “solid” fabric, Rebecca wanted something that would be durable and a great basic, but that also made it easier to layer within a color palette—or even build one from. We rarely see flat colors in big swaths in nature. Our natural world is so complex. We see a field of grass, but it’s full of tonal variation and movement. She wanted to explore this concept in an upholstery fabric as if you covered your sofa in a natural landscape. This fabric is available as a pillow here .

Rebecca Atwood Designs Bramble Pillow in Splash Blue
Thickets of berry bushes inspired the name for this indoor upholstery-weight fabric. Woven from a soft, nubby cotton-wool blend, each of the colors contains all the pigments Rebecca would use if she were mixing it with her paints. SPLASH BLUE is bubbling with white that makes it look as effervescent as sea foam. It’s washed, casual, and easy to layer with our other light blues. For pillow fabric details please click here .

Rebecca Atwood Designs Dotted Floral Wallpaper in Chambray Blue
This pattern was created from an original painting from Rebecca’s sketchbook, which like many of her designs, began as a mark-making exercise. Creating a motif from small dashes and dots is a simple practice that can start on the corner of a notebook during a meeting or a warm-up practice for a painting session. While mark-making is often an exercise Rebecca uses to center herself in the present moment, the results often become the seed of a new design. The radiating lines of this deconstructed floral shape feel celebratory and are sure to bring joy to any space.
