Rebecca Atwood Designs Wavy Grass Fabric in Leafy Green
Use this fabric indoors or out. This design was informed by little vines and the texture of grass—particularly the way it looks as it curls over, uncut, and is about to go to seed. Rebecca was thinking about a classic pattern structure of crisscrossing motifs, too. This pattern is organic but structured, a nod to traditional. This fabric is available as a pillow here .

Rebecca Atwood Designs Alder Fabric in Eggplant
Alder repeats an abstract dripping pattern that reminded Rebecca of the catkins of an alder tree. The single-color print allows the linen ground (ivory or oatmeal, depending on the color) to show through, adding to its textured appearance—almost like a pair of Japanese selvedge jeans. In warm, rich EGGPLANT, it takes on a bark-like texture against the lighter ground. This plummy purple is an alternative neutral that layers nicely with our deep pinks and earthy reds as well as warm woods. This fabric is available as a pillow here .

Rebecca Atwood Designs Garden Stripe Fabric in Inkwash
Use this fabric indoors or out. We love a stripe. You can’t go wrong adding one to a space, and they can be a great way to tie together a color palette. Rebecca painted the original artwork for this pattern to test some colors she had mixed. She loved how this stripe turned out, and it reminded her how a thin stripe can be so easy to layer with anything. Stripes are also a great way to bring in color, whether tonal shades of green like the original she painted or a multi-colored palette. This colorway is available while supplies last.

Rebecca Atwood Designs Speckled Fabric in Ice Blue
Pulled from Rebecca’s sketchbook, Speckled is a foundational pattern that adds quiet but evocative movement. Created by layering small brushmarks over an ink wash ground, it captures the movement of natural landscapes shaped by time. The subtle swirled direction of the marks references seeds dispersed by the wind, stones pushed onto the shore by waves, and dappled light filtering through leaves. Use this pattern in any space where you want to add quiet depth. The gestural texture offers warmth and beauty.

Rebecca Atwood Designs Horizon Fabric in Field
This fabric is intended for indoor use. For our first “solid” fabric, Rebecca wanted something that would be durable and a great basic, but that also made it easier to layer within a color palette—or even build one from. We rarely see flat colors in big swaths in nature. Our natural world is so complex. We see a field of grass, but it’s full of tonal variation and movement. She wanted to explore this concept in an upholstery fabric as if you cover your sofa in a natural landscape. This fabric is available as a pillow here .

KELP GREEN has yellowy undertones that remind Rebecca of seaweed and make it sunnier than our blue-greens. In this color, Alder appears to be almost swaying or growing underwater. This pattern was meant to capture the joy of finding little patches of beauty in unexpected places. Rebecca painted the original artwork while working on a series of ideas for florals and drew inspiration for this iteration from the pop of color wildflowers bring to a grassy field and the charm of city flowers that manage to bloom through a crack in the concrete.
