Use this fabric indoors or out. This design was informed by little vines and the texture of grass—particularly the way it looks as it curls over, uncut, and is about to go to seed. Rebecca was thinking about a classic pattern structure of crisscrossing motifs, too. This pattern is organic but structured, a nod to traditional. This fabric is available as a pillow here .

Rebecca Atwood Designs Long Grass Fabric in Inkwash
This pattern was inspired by a picture Rebecca snapped of long grass while visiting Portland, Oregon. Travel heightens awareness of your surroundings and invites discovery. Rebecca remembers these long grasses leaning against one another, layering to create a rich texture. She started making a large painting and watched how the shapes connected and overlapped, and how the color could intertwine to create an atmosphere. This pattern adds vertical movement and depth to a space. We love it for curtains. This colorway is available while supplies last .

Rebecca Atwood Designs Lattice Fabric in Soft Gray
Use this fabric indoors or out. Lattices help guide rambling vines, and the diamonds of the structure can also add geometry and dimension to a garden. Here the pattern is reduced to a small scale and creates an easy texture for layering other patterns, colors, and textures against. It’s a texture that has a subtle pattern to it and a subtle striation of hue. This fabric is available as a pillow here .

Rebecca Atwood Designs Meadow Fabric in Sunrise
This dreamy, multi-colored pattern is an excellent bridge across color palettes. Rebecca Atwood Designs Wildflower Fabric in Navy/Leaf
This pattern was meant to capture the joy of finding little patches of beauty in unexpected places. Rebecca painted the original artwork while working on a series of ideas for florals and drew inspiration for this iteration from the pop of color wildflowers bring to a grassy field and the charm of city flowers that manage to bloom through a crack in the concrete. Rebecca Atwood Designs Curling Vines Fabric in Green/Ice
This unfurling botanical pattern has an air of formality that owes not just to its classical motif but also to its very special texture. Made using a heritage French weaving technique called Liser é , this fabric uses our artisan-dyed warp yarn for the ground and a combination of two mercerized cotton yarns and a slub rayon yarn for the raised vine design. The result is a fabric that looks embroidered but in fact comes off the loom with an intricate allover pattern. This fabric is available as a pillow here .

Rebecca Atwood Designs Ombré Stripe Fabric in Faded Purple
Add this striped pattern to any scheme for instant smartness and a timeless feel—it goes with everything. Weaving an ombré effect, Rebecca gives the classic stripe a unique and fresh feel. She loves how the subtle color shift echoes nature, the color intensifies and then fades. It’s reminiscent of waves coming into the shore, or grass waving in the wind. There’s energy and movement in the changing of color. This fabric is available as a pillow here .

Rebecca Atwood Designs Sprigs Fabric in Green/Tan
This large watercolor floral—a variation on Rebecca’s beloved leaves and dots motif—just might be the collection’s most iconic pattern. Squiggle stems give it a dynamic energy that makes it appear as if it’s in bloom. All of the colorways are bold and impactful, but we’re especially excited about the eggplant and indigo variation. It takes the collection’s palette—and any room’s design—in a rich new direction. This fabric is available as a pillow here .

Rebecca Atwood Designs Park Pillow in Pale Goldenrod
This crisp midweight upholstery fabric can create a range of moods depending on the color you choose—from cool ones that give a space a light, breezy feeling to grounded ones that bring warmth. Rebecca wanted each one to look sunwashed. PALE GOLDENROD has a little ochre in it that makes it stronger than a butter yellow, but it’s faded and softer than our other goldenrods and as versatile as natural linen. Fully bleach cleanable, Park can be used indoors or outdoors. For pillow fabric details please click here .

Rebecca Atwood Designs Horizon Fabric in Shore
This fabric is intended for indoor use. For our first “solid” fabric, Rebecca wanted something that would be durable and a great basic, but that also made it easier to layer within a color palette—or even build one from. We rarely see flat colors in big swaths in nature. Our natural world is so complex. We see a field of grass, but it’s full of tonal variation and movement. She wanted to explore this concept in an upholstery fabric as if you covered your sofa in a natural landscape. This fabric is available as a pillow here .

Rebecca Atwood Designs Briar Fabric in Navy/Coral
Use this fabric indoors or out. A briar is a prickly shrub and often the word brings to mind wild roses. Rebecca loves that these plants are tough, but also beautiful. They grow along the beach near her childhood home and have survived hurricanes and nor’easters to bloom the next year. The small crosses also remind her of the first seedlings popping through the dirt when herbs are planted in little pots. This fabric is available as a pillow here .

Rebecca Atwood Designs Floret Pillow in Wheat
A small vintage fabric cutting Rebecca found in Tokyo, Japan inspired this fabric. It was a small-scale print that read geometric, but also like a floral. She loved this idea for a textural woven and redrew the motif, adding the softness of her hand and increasing the size so that it would translate well as a woven. She thought a lot about the landscape textures and how we need these textures in our home to create the environment that feels best to us. Use this fabric to cover a sofa in a field of flowers, but viewed at a distance for a soft and easy vibe.

Rebecca Atwood Designs Patchwork Plaid Wallpaper in Multi Gray
Painterly lines cross and connect, in a patchwork of plaid sketches. The subtle waviness of the stripes recalls Rebecca’s hand as it moved across the page. This pattern recalls vintage quilts and brings that coziness with it.

Rebecca Atwood Designs Dotted Lines Pillow in Light Blues
These happy dots grew out of color studies in the pages of Rebecca’s sketchbooks. They play wonderfully well together, and can easily inspire the pattern for a whole room or smooth the transition from one space into another. We love using this small-scale pattern to introduce a new color into a space as well. For pillow fabric details please click here .

Rebecca Atwood Designs Arches Fabric in Gray
Rebecca has been reflecting on the concepts of fields and hills. Looking out at the horizon, a landscape, or a panoramic view can be comforting. Round shapes are playful and evoke happiness, which is a feeling she always wants at home. She wanted to create something with round shapes, while also referencing the textures of grass, and the result was this pattern. It has movement to it and is airy and textural. This pattern will look great as drapery or on a larger piece of furniture. This fabric is a part of our Archive Collection.
