This loose, painterly plaid started as a holiday card that Rebecca drew in watercolor pencil. She loved how the hazy effect of the pencil created a multicolor stripe that’s bright but livable and versatile. Printed on our European linen, it’s a beautiful choice for lightweight but not quite sheer curtains, a window seat cushion and matching pillows, or a headboard.

This familiar yet fresh stripe is soft, tonal, and floral inspired. Embroidered bud shapes dance across fields of shifting colors, creating pretty contrasts of tone and texture. Meanwhile, embroidered stripes add another contrasting element. In purples, it’s feminine and pretty; in blues, it’s classic and bold. Use this fabric indoors or out. A simple plaid, this design started as a meditative practice to begin a painting session. Rebecca used India Ink, overlaying the same wash of ink to create a basket-like weave. The subtle darkening that occurs when one long stripe crosses over the next was pleasing to watch. Reminiscent of fencing, it calls to mind the different structures we use to tame nature within a garden. The repetition and structure they provide feel settling. We love it against wrought iron detailing or ivy-covered brick. This fabric is available as a pillow here .

It’s a bit playful but still buttoned up. We designed it at a mid-size scale—not too tiny or too big—so this indoor-outdoor woven fabric is ideal for upholstery applications where durability is key, such as porch cushions or a banquette. This unfurling botanical pattern has an air of formality that owes not just to its classical motif but also to its very special texture. Made using a heritage French weaving technique called Liser é , this fabric uses our artisan-dyed warp yarn for the ground and a combination of two mercerized cotton yarns and a slub rayon yarn for the raised vine design. The result is a fabric that looks embroidered but in fact comes off the loom with an intricate allover pattern. This fabric is available as a pillow here .

Use this fabric indoors or out. A briar is a prickly shrub and often the word brings to mind wild roses. Rebecca loves that these plants are tough, but also beautiful. They grow along the beach near her childhood home and have survived hurricanes and nor’easters to bloom the next year. The small crosses also remind her of the first seedlings popping through the dirt when herbs are planted in little pots. This fabric is available as a pillow here .
