Thickets of berry bushes inspired the name for this indoor upholstery-weight fabric. Woven from a soft, nubby cotton-wool blend, each of the colors contains all the pigments Rebecca would use if she were mixing it with her paints. Neutral green CAMELLIA LEAF is inspired by the flowers in Rebecca’s yard and all over Charleston, with their creamy pink petals, dark foliage, and yellow-green buds—even a hint of blue sky. Alder repeats an abstract dripping pattern that reminded Rebecca of the catkins of an alder tree. When she began to play with this linear shape for a woven, she explored how it could capture the way a breeze ripples through the spring air.
