Thickets of berry bushes inspired the name for this indoor upholstery-weight fabric. Woven from a soft, nubby cotton-wool blend, each color contains all the pigments Rebecca would use if she were mixing it with her paints. Dusky browns, navies, and greens lay the foundation for FOREST PURPLE. From a distance, it’s almost a very neutral dark gray that shifts moody and romantic, like the shadows trees cast at night; up close, it’s a dark plum. This fabric is available as a pillow here .

Rebecca Atwood Designs Alder Fabric in Green Dusk
Alder repeats an abstract dripping pattern that reminded Rebecca of the catkins of an alder tree. The single-color print allows the linen ground (ivory or oatmeal, depending on the color) to show through, adding to its textured appearance—almost like a pair of Japanese selvedge jeans. In GREEN DUSK, it has a worn, washed, calm feeling. This dark, muted blue-green looks beautiful with our Bramble fabric or wallpaper in Camellia Leaf. This fabric is available as a pillow here .

Rebecca Atwood Designs Meadow Fabric in Ruby Blue
This dreamy, multi-colored pattern is an excellent bridge across color palettes. Rebecca Atwood Designs Petals Woven Fabric in Rose/Purple
This calm, cocooning pattern began as elongated brushstrokes in Rebecca’s sketchbook. Like petals or leaves gently curling at the edges, the soft shapes hang suspended in the air, twisting and turning so you can see their subtle colors. We love using it to upholster larger pieces.

Rebecca Atwood Designs Ombré Stripe Fabric in Faded Purple
Add this striped pattern to any scheme for instant smartness and a timeless feel—it goes with everything. Weaving an ombré effect, Rebecca gives the classic stripe a unique and fresh feel. She loves how the subtle color shift echoes nature, the color intensifies and then fades. It’s reminiscent of waves coming into the shore, or grass waving in the wind. There’s energy and movement in the changing of color. This fabric is available as a pillow here .

Rebecca Atwood Designs Laurel Fabric in Peach
Rebecca recast a botanical painting in imaginative new colors to create this fantastical print, marked by its painterly brushstrokes. Rebecca Atwood Designs Floret Pillow in Wheat
A small vintage fabric cutting Rebecca found in Tokyo, Japan inspired this fabric. It was a small-scale print that read geometric, but also like a floral. She loved this idea for a textural woven and redrew the motif, adding the softness of her hand and increasing the size so that it would translate well as a woven. She thought a lot about the landscape textures and how we need these textures in our home to create the environment that feels best to us. Use this fabric to cover a sofa in a field of flowers, but viewed at a distance for a soft and easy vibe.

Rebecca Atwood Designs Swirled Cloud Wallpaper in Light Blue
Wispy, circular ripples set a scene that’s as warm as a sunset. Rebecca painted each of these clouds individually; we printed them on double-wide wallpaper at a large scale to retain the original artwork's specialness and the expansive feeling of the sky.

Rebecca Atwood Designs Horizon Fabric in Shore
This fabric is intended for indoor use. For our first “solid” fabric, Rebecca wanted something that would be durable and a great basic, but that also made it easier to layer within a color palette—or even build one from. We rarely see flat colors in big swaths in nature. Our natural world is so complex. We see a field of grass, but it’s full of tonal variation and movement. She wanted to explore this concept in an upholstery fabric as if you covered your sofa in a natural landscape. This fabric is available as a pillow here .

Rebecca wanted each one to look sunwashed. WILD GRASS is like a green meadow in the off-season, flecked with pink, yellow, and whites like Queen Anne’s Lace and wildflowers. Rebecca Atwood Designs Floral Trellis Wallpaper in Taupe/Black
Carefree blossoms hover as if on a breeze in this offset geometric design. We love how the trellis of dotted lines on which they grow also resembles the path of a meandering walk. The overall effect is an easygoing spring feeling that’s perpetually in bloom.

Rebecca Atwood Designs Petals Pillow in Navy

Rebecca Atwood Designs Bricks Pillow in Taupe/Blue
This pattern started as a color experiment in Rebecca’s sketchbook as she played with layering blocks of color next to one another in tonal shades (or in the case of this one – the occasional pop). Rebecca Atwood Designs Marble Geode Pillow in Blue
The subtly varying colors of this intricate marbled textile make it so very special. Rebecca’s original suminagashi artwork, done in india ink on rice paper, references geological and coastal elements. We love how the weaving process captures its variations, enriching its colors and textures with artisan-dyed warp yarn and making it a dynamic choice for layering. Rebecca Atwood Designs Thatched Pillow in Sand
A simple plaid, this design started as a meditative practice to begin a painting session. Rebecca used India Ink, overlaying the same wash of ink to create a basket-like weave. The subtle darkening that occurs when one long stripe crosses over the next was pleasing to watch. Reminiscent of fencing, it calls to mind the different structures we use to tame nature within a garden. The repetition and structure they provide feel settling. We love it against wrought iron detailing or ivy-covered brick. For pillow fabric details please click here .
