The woodland friends bring him welcome gifts of tiny posies and a silver spoon that they found in the forest. Cyril declares, “These treasures will be perfect for my hoard. Doll Zoe Rabbit
Zoe Rabbit is converting part of the stream bank into a rock garden. It’s slimy work, she says, but somebody’s got to do it. Possibly. She’s building minnow pools into the lower levels, and a terrace higher up. Yesterday she saw two beautiful orange newts. Zoe Rabbit measures 13" tall from her paws to the top of her head.
