Doll Clover Horse

Cyril Dragon was a limited-edition visitor for Holiday 2024! In a cloud of smoke and mist, with a “Whoosh!” and a hiss of steam, CYRIL DRAGON alights upon the Hazel Village sledding hill. The woodland friends bring him welcome gifts of tiny posies and a silver spoon that they found in the forest. Cyril declares, “These treasures will be perfect for my hoard. Thank you, friends!” Cyril Dragon is handmade from organic cotton fleece.

Vera Hedgehog was a limited-edition visitor from Fall of 2021 & Spring 2023 Vera Hedgehog trundles through the forest with her backpack, looking for good decorations for her hedgehog house. Like colorful leaves, smooth sticks, and snail shells with interesting patterns. “It can never be too frilly,” she declares.

Ivy Goat was our returning visitor in 2022! When Ivy Goat sees the dewy meadows of spring, she runs to them and does a little dance, waving all of her hooves in the air. Her animal friends copy her dance, because they understand her mood.

Gertrude Swan was our limited-edition animal for Holiday 2023! Gertrude Swan, first of her name, is a swan princess. As such, she considers the needs of her subjects: do the caterpillars have enough milkweed growing for next year? Would the ducks and frogs appreciate a Jingle Dance performance with her special boots? That kind of thing.

Tillie Goose was a limited-edition visitor from Fall of 2022! In her goosey dreams sometimes she sees places she has traveled - wide lakes the bright blue of cornflowers, fields ragged with stubble and little leftovers of corn. She remembers the cold high wind on her beak and head feathers, and saying HONK! HONK! HONK! to her sisters.

Violet Rabbit is a limited-edition animal friend from Spring of 2021! Violet Rabbit wants us to know how high she can hop: higher than the forest fence, higher than the roof of the mini shed, even higher than the berry hedge! How impressive, Violet! Violet Rabbit is made of gray organic cotton fleece, except for her tail which is natural colored fleece. Her ears are lined with cotton shirting. She is stuffed with polyfill. Violet's face is embroidered with cotton embroidery floss. She measures 15" including ears.

Maeve Cat was a limited-edition Hazel Village friend from Fall 2020! Maeve Cat loves to cavort in wildflower meadows, breathing the sweet meadow air and pouncing on bugs. Enough of this sort of thing, she says, and she can sit still for dinner. Maeve is about 14″ tall. She is made of white, orange, and black organic cotton fleece. Her face is hand-stitched with cotton embroidery thread. She is stuffed with polyfill. If she gets dirty she can be hand washed in cool water and air dried.

Rupert Bison was Hazel Village's Limited-Edition friend for Holiday 2022! When Rupert makes a new friend, he likes to share a little gift he made. So he keeps good gifts packed in sweet hay in his bag. Like hats he knitted when he had some time to spare, or a little box for his friend’s trinkets. Rupert Bison is very excited to have adventured to the fine lands of Hazel Village! While supplies last, Rupert will travel to your home wrapped in his own special commemorative bandana.

Clara Otter was a limited-edition visitor from Summer of 2024! Splash! Splish! That is Clara Otter. She’s enjoying the cool stream waters - practicing flips, hunting for gleaming bits of river detritus, and finding freshwater mussels which might have pearls in them. She declares, “You never know!” Clara Otter is handmade from soft organic cotton fleece. She has lovingly hand-embroidered details, fuzzy natural cotton sherpa cheek patches, and special-shaped paws for grabbing slippery rocks and shells.

Marnie Chicken was a limited-edition visitor from Spring of 2024! Marnie Chicken says she hasn’t actually built a house yet, except a bee house and a gingerbread house. But she wants to help her friends with their bigger projects, especially hammer stuff and saw stuff. Marnie is handmade from organic cotton fleece. She is 14” tall, suitable for all ages, and will arrive at your home swaddled in our complimentary gift wrap. Juniper Wolf was a limited-edition friend who visited the Village from July to September of 2020! Most surprisingly gentle of the forest creatures, Juniper roams the high hills and ridges above Hazel Village, camping in lean-tos and dining on forest fruits. But sometimes the thunderstorms of summer get a little too scary for her. So under the full moon, she has trekked into Hazel Village. The animals are sharing their summer feasts and activities with her, and encouraging her to become more brave about thunder.

Mortimer Mouse is Hazel Village's returning friend from Winter 2021! Mortimer Mouse enjoys baking and tending his sourdough starter. Sometimes he takes a wagon to the farm, and gets the animals to give him a tiny bottle of milk and one egg. He gives them cookies in return. He says he will be happy anywhere, as long as he gets the occasional starchy treat.

When Claire climbs her favorite tree, she can see lots of stuff. The way the hay grasses shift when a wind comes up; the river; the color of the far hills in different kinds of weather.
