Leaves are one of Rebecca’s favorite motifs to sketch. Here, they’re joyful and abstract, thickly strewn on our white linen ground as if they just fell from the tree. Embroidery gives the closely set, bud-like shapes a soft, dreamy quality.

Rebecca Atwood Designs Linear Stem Sheer Fabric in Yellow
Hand-drawn leaves reminiscent of an Ellsworth Kelly line drawing appear here as dotted lines of embroidery. They pop against softly colored grounds in rich, lively hues of rose and sunny yellow as well as RAD favorites like blue, navy, and gray. Thanks to its larger scale, this botanical pattern makes a bold (but never loud) statement in a room.

Rebecca Atwood Designs Falling Leaves Fabric in Multi Blue/Yellow
Loose, painterly leaves in tonal colors drift across a creamy background on this woven linen fabric. It brings a buoyant feeling to any room where it’s used. With its large-scale proportion — the leaves are life size or slightly bigger — we love it for everything from curtains or lightly used upholstered pieces like headboards in settings where a creative, not too formal mood is called for.

Rebecca Atwood Designs Speckled Fabric in Dusty Lavender
Pulled from Rebecca’s sketchbook, Speckled is a foundational pattern that adds quiet but evocative movement. Created by layering small brushmarks over an ink wash ground, it captures the movement of natural landscapes shaped by time. The subtle swirled direction of the marks references seeds dispersed by the wind, stones pushed onto the shore by waves, and dappled light filtering through leaves. Use this pattern in any space where you want to add quiet depth. The gestural texture offers warmth and beauty.

Rebecca Atwood Designs Petals Woven Fabric in Ivory
This calm, cocooning pattern began as elongated brushstrokes in Rebecca’s sketchbook. Like petals or leaves gently curling at the edges, the soft shapes hang suspended in the air, twisting and turning so you can see their subtle colors. We love using it to upholster larger pieces.

Rebecca Atwood Designs Breeze Fabric in Sky
Use this fabric indoors or out. Throughout the years, Rebecca has explored long curved shapes in various ways and frequently doodled them in the corners of her notebooks. When she began to play with this linear shape for a woven, she explored how it could capture the way a breeze ripples through the spring air. By repeating this simple mark in varying darkness, she creates a pattern with movement. Some marks sink back into the ground of the cloth, whereas others pop against the background.

Rebecca Atwood Designs Wildflower Fabric in Pink/Green
This pattern was meant to capture the joy of finding little patches of beauty in unexpected places. Rebecca painted the original artwork while working on a series of ideas for florals and drew inspiration for this iteration from the pop of color wildflowers bring to a grassy field and the charm of city flowers that manage to bloom through a crack in the concrete.

Rebecca Atwood Designs Floret Fabric in Brown/Mauve
Use this fabric indoors or out. A small vintage fabric cutting Rebecca found in Tokyo, Japan inspired this fabric. It was a small-scale print that read geometric but also like a floral. She loved this idea for a textural woven and redrew the motif, adding the softness of her hand and increasing the size so that it would translate well as a woven. She thought a lot about landscape textures and how we need these textures in our homes to create the environment that feels best to us. Use this fabric to cover a sofa in a field of flowers, but viewed at a distance for a soft and easy vibe.

Rebecca Atwood Designs Linear Cloud Pillow in Earth
Like most, this pattern began in Rebecca’s sketchbook. She was playing around with a new small brush and admiring the line quality. She started painting arched shapes that were reminiscent of clouds, which she then explored as a larger painting. We love that patterns can become the backdrop to our lives and help us create an environment. Inspired by the sky, this textural pattern will add atmosphere to a room. Rebecca Atwood Designs Bubbles Coordinate Wallpaper in Cloud
Designed to coordinate with our Bubbles mural to continue the pattern onto a ceiling, this subtle print looks equally lovely on its own. It calls to mind fading seafoam or falling grains of sand, but without the larger mural for context it can also read as floating specks of dust, snow flurries, or tiny drops of beaded rain, all softly illuminated and suspended in motion. Like our Petals pattern, it’s enveloping in a gentle way, and it’s ideal for a quiet, calm environment.
