An expanded version of our Ultra-Blends 8-color set ! This exciting collection was inspired by our OG color-separating blend, CfM Riverbed . We wanted to try our hand at making even more layered colors—and once we got going, we couldn't stop! Team members were texting ideas, swatches and color scraps covered our work tables, and our resident poets began thinking up fun names . . . while in the span of a week two colors turned into three which turned into seven . . . you get the idea! Saturday, July 25, 11:00am - 12:30pm PT. This is an online workshop held via Zoom. I have been obsessed with dolphins since childhood. Their curious, playful natures are fascinating, and their graceful movements are full of joy. Observing them swimming in the San Francisco Bay inspired me to loosen my approach to painting and respond more intuitively to the natural world. In this workshop we’ll explore foundational watercolor techniques such as wet-into-wet, layering, and more, with an emphasis on using minimal, fluid brushstrokes to paint these streamlined creatures.
