Inspired by her beloved birds, Sapir and Whorf, designer Caroline Gilmore created these socks as a tribute to her feathery companions. She named her two birds after the linguists and anthropologists Edward Sapir and Benjamin Lee Whorf. In turn, the birds brought companionship and inspiration to Caroline's life.
