Rebecca Atwood Designs Budding Stripe Fabric in Lilac
This familiar yet fresh stripe is soft, tonal, and floral-inspired. Embroidered bud shapes dance across fields of shifting colors, creating pretty contrasts of tone and texture. Meanwhile, embroidered stripes add another contrasting element. In purples, it’s feminine and pretty; in blues, it’s classic and bold. And in green, it combines a palette of fresh and calming of-the-moment shades. This fabric is available as a pillow here .

Rebecca Atwood Designs Embroidered Dots Sheer Fabric in Washed Navy
The fun textures and colors of this vintage-feeling fabric make it ideal for layering. The raised embroidery is a twisted, more organic take on a French knot motif; think of them like the centers of flowers that have lost their petals. The simple contrasting shades just feel easy together as a charming finishing touch.

Rebecca Atwood Designs Curling Vines Fabric in Violet/Orange
This unfurling botanical pattern has an air of formality that owes not just to its classical motif but also to its very special texture. Made using a heritage French weaving technique called Liser é , this fabric uses our artisan-dyed warp yarn for the ground and a combination of two mercerized cotton yarns and a slub rayon yarn for the raised vine design. The result is a fabric that looks embroidered but in fact comes off the loom with an intricate allover pattern. This fabric is available as a pillow here .

Rebecca Atwood Designs Bramble Fabric in Camellia Leaf
Thickets of berry bushes inspired the name for this indoor upholstery-weight fabric. Woven from a soft, nubby cotton-wool blend, each of the colors contains all the pigments Rebecca would use if she were mixing it with her paints. Neutral green CAMELLIA LEAF is inspired by the flowers in Rebecca’s yard and all over Charleston, with their creamy pink petals, dark foliage, and yellow-green buds—even a hint of blue sky. This fabric is available as a pillow here .

Rebecca Atwood Designs Dotted Palm Wallpaper in Leaf
A customer favorite, this abstract botanical is a strong, grounding foundation for a room. Rebecca began drawing it on vacation in Zihuatanejo, Mexico, taking in the movement and color of the landscape; it’s also inspired by the still, quiet energy of tree pose in yoga. Rebecca Atwood Designs Sprigs Fabric in Eggplant/Blue
This large watercolor floral—a variation on Rebecca’s beloved leaves and dots motif—just might be the collection’s most iconic pattern. Squiggle stems give it a dynamic energy that makes it appear as if it’s in bloom. All of the colorways are bold and impactful, but we’re especially excited about the eggplant and indigo variation. It takes the collection’s palette—and any room’s design—in a rich new direction. This fabric is available as a pillow here .

Rebecca Atwood Designs Petals Woven Fabric in Ivory
This calm, cocooning pattern began as elongated brushstrokes in Rebecca’s sketchbook. Like petals or leaves gently curling at the edges, the soft shapes hang suspended in the air, twisting and turning so you can see their subtle colors. We love using it to upholster larger pieces.

Rebecca Atwood Designs Bubbles Coordinate Wallpaper in Cloud
Designed to coordinate with our Bubbles mural to continue the pattern onto a ceiling, this subtle print looks equally lovely on its own. It calls to mind fading seafoam or falling grains of sand, but without the larger mural for context it can also read as floating specks of dust, snow flurries, or tiny drops of beaded rain, all softly illuminated and suspended in motion. Like our Petals pattern, it’s enveloping in a gentle way, and it’s ideal for a quiet, calm environment.

Rebecca Atwood Designs Dotted Floral Wallpaper in Chambray Blue
This pattern was created from an original painting from Rebecca’s sketchbook, which like many of her designs, began as a mark-making exercise. Creating a motif from small dashes and dots is a simple practice that can start on the corner of a notebook during a meeting or a warm-up practice for a painting session. While mark-making is often an exercise Rebecca uses to center herself in the present moment, the results often become the seed of a new design. The radiating lines of this deconstructed floral shape feel celebratory and are sure to bring joy to any space.

Rebecca Atwood Designs Alder Wallpaper in Pale Goldenrod
Alder repeats an abstract dripping pattern that reminded Rebecca of the catkins of an alder tree. The single-color print allows our creamy nonwoven fiber paper ground to show through, enhancing its textured appearance. You expect it to feel like a pair of Japanese selvedge jeans when you touch it. PALE GOLDENROD is stronger than butter yellow, but it has a faded quality that makes it softer than our other goldenrods. Use it in place of natural linen to bring sunshine into a space.

This pattern was meant to capture the joy of finding little patches of beauty in unexpected places. Rebecca Atwood Designs Marble Fern Fabric in Canyon
Rebecca enjoys working with cut paper. The physicality of creating a shape out of a piece of paper, the way it makes the lines crisper, and the irreversibility of it are some of her favorite aspects of this method. There’s a bit you can’t control as you get going. She had the idea to create a leafy fern design by cutting long leaves out of the marbled papers. The softness of the marble against the graphic cut-out leaves creates a pattern within a pattern, a world within a world. With the large repeat, this design has a lot of movement and life.

In our sheer linen blend, it’s textural, easy, and even dreamier.

Rebecca Atwood Designs Thatched Fabric in Leafy Green
Use this fabric indoors or out. A simple plaid, this design started as a meditative practice to begin a painting session. Rebecca used India Ink, overlaying the same wash of ink to create a basket-like weave. The subtle darkening that occurs when one long stripe crosses over the next was pleasing to watch. Reminiscent of fencing, it calls to mind the different structures we use to tame nature within a garden. The repetition and structure they provide feel settling. We love it against wrought iron detailing or ivy-covered brick. This colorway is available while supplies last.

Rebecca Atwood Designs Floret Fabric in Coral
Use this fabric indoors or out. A small vintage fabric cutting Rebecca found in Tokyo, Japan inspired this fabric. It was a small-scale print that read geometric but also like a floral. She loved this idea for a textural woven and redrew the motif, adding the softness of her hand and increasing the size so that it would translate well as a woven. She thought a lot about landscape textures and how we need these textures in our homes to create the environment that feels best to us. Use this fabric to cover a sofa in a field of flowers, but viewed at a distance for a soft and easy vibe.

Rebecca Atwood Designs Flora Fabric in Blue-Slate
This pattern began as a large painting inspired by memories of vintage textiles in Rebecca's childhood attic. While creating the batik-inspired motifs, she wanted to capture the soft unfurling of spring when the air is filled with blooms, buds, and leaves. The colored ground makes this pattern versatile, as you can pair it with patterns that have an ivory ground for an airier look or with other deeper tones for a cozier vibe. The scheme of a room can start with this large repeat, which mixes well with small and mid-sized prints. This fabric is a part of our Archive Collection.

Rebecca Atwood Designs Scribble Wallpaper in Pink
Rebecca wanted to design something soft and textural as if she had just slowly moved her brush up and down in small repetitive marks along a wall or across a piece of fabric—which is in fact how she painted this pattern but on a piece of paper. The dots and dashes of this pattern reminded Rebecca of the idea of signals being shared across the ocean. For pillow fabric details please click here .
