Use this fabric indoors or out. This design began as a larger painting on paper, playing with the shape of a simple flower. Rebecca pushed her brush onto the paper repetitively in different colors to create this field of blooms. After creating the original artwork, she enlarged the scale to add playfulness. For a more abstract layout, use this pattern on smaller pieces, like a pillow, or embrace the garden experience and use it on patio furniture or a kitchen banquette. The multi-colored design makes it easy to build a color palette. This fabric is available as a pillow here .

This pattern was meant to capture the joy of finding little patches of beauty in unexpected places. Rebecca painted the original artwork while working on a series of ideas for florals and drew inspiration for this iteration from the pop of color wildflowers bring to a grassy field and the charm of city flowers that manage to bloom through a crack in the concrete. Rebecca Atwood Designs Floret Fabric in Field
Household

Rebecca Atwood Designs Floret Fabric in Field

Use this fabric indoors or out. A small vintage fabric cutting Rebecca found in Tokyo, Japan inspired this fabric. It was a small-scale print that read geometric, but also like a floral. She loved this idea for a textural woven and redrew the motif, adding the softness of her hand and increasing the size so that it would translate well as a woven. She thought a lot about the landscape textures and how we need these textures in our home to create the environment that feels best to us. Use this fabric to cover a sofa in a field of flowers, but viewed at a distance for a soft and easy vibe.

This large watercolor floral—a variation on Rebecca’s beloved leaves and dots motif—just might be the collection’s most iconic pattern. A customer favorite, this abstract botanical is a strong, grounding foundation for a room. Rebecca began drawing it on vacation in Zihuatanejo, Mexico, taking in the movement and color of the landscape; it’s also inspired by the still, quiet energy of tree pose in yoga. Rebecca Atwood Designs Dotted Floral Wallpaper in Chambray Blue

This pattern was created from an original painting from Rebecca’s sketchbook, which like many of her designs, began as a mark-making exercise. Creating a motif from small dashes and dots is a simple practice that can start on the corner of a notebook during a meeting or a warm-up practice for a painting session. While mark-making is often an exercise Rebecca uses to center herself in the present moment, the results often become the seed of a new design. The radiating lines of this deconstructed floral shape feel celebratory and are sure to bring joy to any space.
