Empyrean Bay Rum - Truth be told, I was never a big fan of traditional bay rum scents. I wanted to create a Bay Rum composition which is not typical and without cinnamon or clove oils which can cause adverse effects and irritation. Notes: Clementine, orange blossom, green apple, pomegranate, rum, geranium, powder, tonka bean, coumarin, bay leaf, cedar I’m using real Bay Leaf and rum. In place of cinnamon & cloves, I’m using real tonka, real coumarin for warmth and added complexity. I’m also using clementine essential oil and orange blossom.

St. Barts was inspired by Creed Virgin Island Water and is remarkably close to this wonderful fragrance. I mainly get lime in the opening, that is quickly complimented by coconut. The coconut is so light and fresh, just out of its shell.

This is a tropical bay rum - quite different than most bay rums on the market today - this one actually has a bit of a rum kick to it and is spiced up with ginger and lime to give it a lighter more tropical feel.
