Le Piment de la Vie: or "The Spice of Life" is a very complex fragrance shaving soap. It is sweet and spicy and earthy and just all around amazing. Our primary line of shaving soaps. A firmer soap built to provide the best shaving experience possible, and all without the use of any animal fats or byproducts. This is a 4oz pour in a 8oz jar so you will see that the jar is approximately half full. This is done intentionally to give room for the brush to load directly in the tub.

They are a big puck, 3 inches in diameter. If you have a mug that is a bit smaller, you can just whittle a bit off around the edges and throw the shavings in the mug with your soap to make it fit or melt for about 30 seconds in a microwave-safe container and pour into your mug. The release of this was right on time...like clockwork. I think the 'droogs' would approve of this. L'Orane Verte is a soft (not weak), sophisticated, clean and complex citrus forward scent with some earthiness to it. I added two different types of orange notes, as well as lemon and bergamot. The black pepper gives it a nice twist & dimension, as does the lavender note. The oakmoss base is warm and inviting. I really love how this came out and think this will be considered among our top soaps.
