Pulled from Rebecca’s sketchbook, Speckled is a foundational pattern that adds quiet but evocative movement. Created by layering small brushmarks over an ink wash ground, it captures the movement of natural landscapes shaped by time. The subtle swirled direction of the marks references seeds dispersed by the wind, stones pushed onto the shore by waves, and dappled light filtering through leaves. Use this pattern in any space where you want to add quiet depth. The gestural texture offers warmth and beauty.

This charming pattern tells a story in its squares. Composed of two overlapping brush strokes, each block has a unique texture and dimension that make it look almost like a mini watercolor landscape. Our painterly take on a classic checkerboard motif, it’s meant to be layered with other patterns. Thickets of berry bushes inspired the name for this grasscloth wallcovering. Printed at a slightly larger scale than our Bramble woven fabric, it has a nice texture and a subtle sheen, almost like raw silk. BLUE RIPPLE reads like a cool, glistening body of water; up close you see it’s composed of an array of blues, from navy to teal to cloud blue, with hints of green.

Rebecca wanted to design something soft and textural as if she had just slowly moved her brush up and down in small repetitive marks along a wall or across a piece of fabric—which is in fact how she painted this pattern but on a piece of paper. The soft texture created by a brush with only a bit of paint left on it creates a cozy soothing feeling, almost like white noise. Use this pattern like you would a grasscloth or texture. It’s soft and easy to mix with other patterns. The finish has a slight sheen that reflects light beautifully.

Use this fabric indoors or out. Throughout the years, Rebecca has explored long curved shapes in various ways and frequently doodled them in the corners of her notebooks. When she began to play with this linear shape for a woven, she explored how it could capture the way a breeze ripples through the spring air. By repeating this simple mark in varying darkness, she creates a pattern with movement. Some marks sink back into the ground of the cloth, where others pop against the background.

This crisp midweight upholstery fabric can create a range of moods depending on the color you choose—from cool ones that give a space a light, breezy feeling to grounded ones that bring warmth. PALE GOLDENROD has a little ochre in it that makes it stronger than a butter yellow, but it’s faded and softer than our other goldenrods and as versatile as natural linen. This unfurling botanical pattern has an air of formality that owes not just to its classical motif but also to its very special texture. Made using a heritage French weaving technique called Liser é , this fabric uses our artisan-dyed warp yarn for the ground and a combination of two mercerized cotton yarns and a slub rayon yarn for the raised vine design. The result is a fabric that looks embroidered but in fact comes off the loom with an intricate allover pattern. This fabric is available as a pillow here .
