TOM BIHN Vertical Packing Cubelet

An All-Fabric Organizer Cube in a just-right size. The 3D Organizer Cube is a one-compartment organizer cube. A simple and unobtrusive plastic hanging hook inside of the 3D Organizer Cube allows you to hang it on a towel rack, cabinet, wall hook or the like. A #5 YKK Racquet-coil zipper with two plastic sliders zips the 3D Organizer Cube. Two O-rings , on the left and right exterior sides of the Cube, allow you to clip a Key Strap to the Cube and attach it to the O-rings inside your larger TOM BIHN travel bag, messenger bag, briefcase, laptop bag, knitting bag, or backpack.

The Guide's Edition Synapse 25 takes all of the same clever features, bountiful organization, and top-shelf build of the original Synapse 25 and walks it all a bit further up into the mountains, a bit deeper into the woods. Rather than the all-too-common black zippers, hardware and webbing, the Guide's Edition Synapse 25 has gone terrestrial: it’s trimmed and lined in Coyote brown. The resulting aesthetic might be taken as an homage to another time; but to our sensibilities, bags trimmed in Coyote seem to be a little more at home in the great outdoors.

No more assembly required, just loop it through the top and bottom holes of the metal or plastic zipper pull and it's good to go. 3 1/16 iches / 80 mm from tip to tip, the loop itself is 2 15/16 inches / 62.5 mm. They come in packs of 4, either 4 black, 4 orange, or 2 black and 2 orange, and they have a TB on the pull. Back in the mid 1970’s, I made a firewood carrier for my father and a couple extras for friends. The design was nothing new or revolutionary, but it did its job: schlepping 3-5 firewood logs from the woodshed to the hearth. When my father passed away in 2016, I inherited the original carrier I had made all those years before. Now, over 40 years later, I use the thing almost daily in the winter months.
