Founder Jono Pandolfi got his start making teapots in college. Over the years, he perfected the form: The shape of the handle and spout, for smooth and even pouring; the thickness of the vessel's walls, to retain heat; the fit of the lid, to avoid rattling. Let’s just say that this teapot is very...considered. It holds just over two cups of tea and was designed to pair with our classic coffee cups and saucers. Add our creamer, for a full-service set. We form the bodies of these cups on the potter’s wheel and then attach the handles by hand. We labored over the curve of those handles and, after getting feedback from dozens of chefs and baristas, landed on these comfortable loops. Our coffee mug is meticulously designed to be a daily staple. The comfortably angled handle makes it easy to hold in one hand. At 4” tall and holding 10 ounces of liquid, it stands sturdily on your breakfast table, workbench, or armchair. We let the clay slip sit in our plaster molds for a few extra minutes, resulting in a slightly thicker wall than our coffee and espresso cups. It helps our mug retain heat for longer, making it perfect for slow sipping. This is the first time we’ve made these classic mugs in a color glaze.
