We met the owner of Jacquard at a fair in New Orleans, and were so excited to connect with another family-owned, California-based company that shares our values of creative exploration and play. Dorland's Wax is one of our favorite Jacquard products—a versatile medium great for sealing and protecting watercolor paintings. It's made from a special blend of pure waxes and damar resin that won’t yellow over time, and will protect your artwork through the years!

A smooth, semi-opaque and lightfast lake pigment. It’s made by fixing a manufactured French mineral pigment to a natural calcium carbonate base, which gives it a soft, velvety matte finish when dry. All of our watercolors are handmade in our shop using the highest quality earth and synthetic pigments, plus natural watercolor binding medium made from gum arabic (sap from acacia trees), honey, glycerine, distilled water, and a dash of clove oil for freshness!
