Catie's Bubbles Azure Premium Shaving Soap, 4oz

Azure Get your mind lost in blue skies and white puffy clouds after using this aquatic chypre. The idea of a modern “blue barbershop” has been stuck in my head for years. I started with the usual suspects of bergamot, lavender, geranium, petitgrain, synthetic moss, and coumarin. To turn it to a modernized “blue” scent I enlisted the help of aquatic notes, muguet, musks, a healthy overload of hedione and a kiss of ambroxan. I then added a bit of a specialty extract of labdanum called hydrocarboresine and it wound up turning into this beautiful aquatic chypre I'm offering you today.

It is scented only with essential oils of bergamot, litsea cubeba, petitgrain, citronella, lavender, geranium and oakmoss absolute. The resulting fragrance blend is bursting with bright citrus, complex florals and a touch of powdery oakmoss. This is a 4oz pour in a 8oz jar so you will see that the jar is approximately half full. This is done intentionally to give room for the brush to load directly in the tub.

Chypre Rose Concerto: An accord composed of citrus top notes with lime, bergamot, rose, lavender, rosemary, geranium, lilac, middle centered on labdanum on top of patchouli, oakmoss and cedarwood base.
