Our Market Stripe was inspired by a vintage fabric from a flea market trip, and Rebecca reinterpreted this classic stripe as a heavier and more durable performance fabric. We love the width of the stripe—it has breathing room. It’s a great way to bring in color and complement a minimal space, or it can be a foundational piece for a rich palette of texture, color, and pattern. For pillow fabric details please click here .

Rebecca Atwood Designs Garden Stripe Pillow in Gray / Blue

We love a stripe. You can’t go wrong adding one to a space, and they can be a great way to tie together a color palette. Rebecca painted the original artwork for this pattern to test some colors she had mixed. She loved how this stripe turned out, and it reminded her how a thin stripe can be so easy to layer with anything. Stripes are also a great way to bring in color, whether tonal shades of green like the original she painted or a multi-colored palette. For pillow fabric details please click here .

Rebecca Atwood Designs Picnic Pillow in Multi-Light Blue

This loose, painterly plaid started as a holiday card that Rebecca drew in watercolor pencil. She loved how the hazy effect of the pencil created a multicolor stripe that’s bright but livable and versatile. Printed on our European Linen , it’s a beautiful choice for lightweight but not quite sheer curtains, a window seat cushion and matching pillows, or a headboard. Rebecca Atwood Designs Wavy Grass Pillow in Leafy Green

This design was informed by little vines and the texture of grass—particularly the way it looks as it curls over, uncut, and is about to go to seed. Rebecca was thinking about a classic pattern structure of crisscrossing motifs, too. This pattern is organic but structured, a nod to tradition. For pillow fabric details please click here .

Rebecca Atwood Designs Alder Wallpaper in Pale Goldenrod
Household

Rebecca Atwood Designs Alder Wallpaper in Pale Goldenrod

Alder repeats an abstract dripping pattern that reminded Rebecca of the catkins of an alder tree. The single-color print allows our creamy nonwoven fiber paper ground to show through, enhancing its textured appearance. You expect it to feel like a pair of Japanese selvedge jeans when you touch it. PALE GOLDENROD is stronger than butter yellow, but it has a faded quality that makes it softer than our other goldenrods. Use it in place of natural linen to bring sunshine into a space.

Rebecca Atwood Designs Floret Fabric in Brown/Mauve
Household

Rebecca Atwood Designs Floret Fabric in Brown/Mauve

Use this fabric indoors or out. A small vintage fabric cutting Rebecca found in Tokyo, Japan inspired this fabric. It was a small-scale print that read geometric but also like a floral. She loved this idea for a textural woven and redrew the motif, adding the softness of her hand and increasing the size so that it would translate well as a woven. She thought a lot about landscape textures and how we need these textures in our homes to create the environment that feels best to us. Use this fabric to cover a sofa in a field of flowers, but viewed at a distance for a soft and easy vibe.

Rebecca Atwood Designs Park Pillow in Pale Goldenrod

This crisp midweight upholstery fabric can create a range of moods depending on the color you choose—from cool ones that give a space a light, breezy feeling to grounded ones that bring warmth. Rebecca wanted each one to look sunwashed. PALE GOLDENROD has a little ochre in it that makes it stronger than a butter yellow, but it’s faded and softer than our other goldenrods and as versatile as natural linen. Fully bleach cleanable, Park can be used indoors or outdoors. For pillow fabric details please click here .

The fun textures and colors of this vintage-feeling fabric make it ideal for layering. The raised embroidery is a twisted, more organic take on a French knot motif; think of them like the centers of flowers that have lost their petals. The simple contrasting shades just feel easy together as a charming finishing touch.

Rebecca Atwood Designs Blocks Pillow in Mist / Taupe

This woven quality reminds Rebecca of needlepoint. Her great-aunt Libby was an avid needle-pointer and growing up, she had needlepoint seat cushions at her dining table, and little framed pieces hanging on the wall. Rebecca wanted to explore something graphic because the weave is so textural. She looked to small, geometric, vintage patterns – like the ones you’d find on the inside of a book cover.
