We present for your consideration the humble but useful Padded Hip Belt Pocket. When we introduced the Le Grand Derriere (LGD), some folks who planned to wear it as a hip/waist/lumbar/fanny pack for hiking asked if we’d someday offer an optional external water bottle pocket for the pack. We rather stubbornly said no at first, then we wondered why we were being so stubborn. Not being able to come up with a rational explanation for our stubbornness and realizing those folks were offering up a great suggestion (special shout-out to Jennifer M!) The Pull Du Jour (PDJ) is a fully integrated loop and pull. No more assembly required, just loop it through the top and bottom holes of the metal or plastic zipper pull and it's good to go. 3 1/16 iches / 80 mm from tip to tip, the loop itself is 2 15/16 inches / 62.5 mm. They come in packs of 4, either 4 black, 4 orange, or 2 black and 2 orange, and they have a TB on the pull. They're chunky enough to feel good in your hand and light enough that they won't make any noise while you walk. Not much more to say about 'em.

Most of our bags come with a packet (or two) of Cord Zipper Pulls (the Aeronaut 30 , Tri-Star , Brain Bag , and Synapse 25 among many others).
