Charlotte Bear is our 2022 limited-edition visitor! Fast asleep in her cozy hollow tree, Charlotte heard a loud pots-and-pans orchestra. It was the other animals, celebrating Wake-Up Day. Spring was coming! Charlotte woke up, and the animals shared their Springtime Breakfast with her.

The pattern of dots and crosshatching on these bloomers reminds Bluebell of Pick the Pebble, a game she used to play as a piglet. Ivory cotton bloomers with a dainty calico print, elastic waist and cuffs, and a thoughtful tail hole. Handmade with love in our Brooklyn workshop.

A dapper chapeau in the traditional style of New Ducklingsburg. Many ducks in that region sport this kind of hat, but we’ve heard that Gaspard wears it with particular aplomb. Made from wool felt the color of a paddling pond, with a dark teal pom-pom on top. Handmade by our artisan partners in Nepal.

She tapes these onto her bedroom window and enjoys the way the afternoon sun shines through them. Jeremy Owl loves to paint portraits of his friends. Usually instead of paper he uses smooth pieces of bark or wood. He can see his work long into the evening because he has superb night vision. He says his favorite color is gray, but if you have a different favorite color he will use it in your portrait.
