The Eleanor Sconce features a richly detailed brass backplate, artisan finishes, and a beautiful six inch diameter opal glass globe. Namesake: Eleanor Roosevelt was the incredibly effective, longest-serving First Lady who worked for racial equality and was the U.S. Representative to the United Nations. After she oversaw the U.N.’s drafting of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Eleanor was often called the “First Lady of the World” in tribute to her human rights achievements.
