Pam Allen clemons
The inception of designer Pam Allen's The Wren Collection, started with the Clemons pants. Holding two strands of DK weight Wren together, the pants have structure and yet are irresistibly soft and bouncy. The pants are worked in one piece in the round from the waist to the base of the crotch, then the stitches are divided for working the legs separately in the round to the lower edges. The pant legs are shown in a slightly cropped, above-the-ankle length, but leg length is adjustable. We personally love the cropped length as it showcases the unique raw-edged hem.

Quince & Co. dust jacket kit
The history of the dust jacket can be traced back to the mid-19th century as a means to shield books from dust and wear. As the 19th century progressed, publishers began to recognize the potential of the outer book cover as a promotional tool. For two more centuries, the dust jacket would continue to evolve and remains one of the most collectible assets of a book. The Dust Jacket Kit pays homage to its humble beginnings. The jacket body is worked in our sweet Chickadee using the linen stitch. The piece can be customized to fit your most treasured literary masterpiece.

Stone Wool dunedin
Few stitch patterns provide as much satisfaction as simple knit-and-purl combinations, especially when worked in a plump, round yarn like Stone Wool Corriedale. The contrast between purl bumps and flat Vs stands out nicely. This pullover started out as a kind of sampler, with same-size bands of the different stitch patterns, but it ended up using an elongated check pattern for the entire body and a smaller broken rib pattern in the yoke. One never knows where an idea will lead. If you love knit-and-purl patterns as much as I do, feel free to substitute your favorites for the ones in Dunedin.

This pattern is also available as part of the 11 piece collection, Atelier .
