Olga Ella Denim Patchwork-Collar Wrap Jacket (Reworked)

Olga Ella ’s patchworked denim garments are works of textile art, and this one-of-its-kind jacket is no exception. It began life as a denim workshirt and has been reworked into a lightweight, open-front jacket with a shawl collar made from a grid of patchworked denim, giving a pixelated effect. Two patchwork front pockets appear below the ghost of a former chest pocket, and additional blocks of denim are appliquéd and patched in, visible-mending style. The denim pieces involved are different shades, and most or all are from other vintage garments.
