There's a lot that's new in this pack, including a new back panel design that reduces weight and increases air flow. Rather than the all-too-common black zippers, hardware and webbing, the Guide's Edition Synapse 25 has gone terrestrial: it’s trimmed and lined in Coyote brown. A compact, go-anywhere crossbody that keeps your essentials organized on the move. The main compartment of the Everyday Cubelet zips open and shut with a #5 YKK zipper with a plastic slider. One side of the Everyday Cubelet is clean without any exterior pockets. The other side features a zippered pocket: the zipper sits at a slight angle, which allows it to open a tad more than if it sat horizontally—plus, it adds a bit of style (in our humble opinion). That extra zipper length makes it a little easier to see inside of the pocket, or wiggle objects (like a phablet) in there.

The Handle Loop is a loop of webbing that allows you to add a grab handle or wrist loop to many of our Organizer Pouches and Cubes . Its length is fully adjustable thanks to a clever slide part that provides enough friction to keep the Handle Loop snugged around your wrist: even if pushed to the end of the Handle Loop, it won't come off. The Handle Loop, made of 5/8" / 15 mm webbing, is about 7" / 180 mm long and weighs 0.2 oz / 6 grams.
