The fabric is knit in North Carolina, cut and sewn in Pennsylvania, and washed out to a finished garment in New York for a perfect fit. Interlock is a double knit construction with back loops knit together and alternating wales. The front and back sides of the fabric are identical and smooth. Interlock is thicker and denser (with almost double the yarn), and more stable than plain jersey fabric. It doesn't curl at the edges and holds its shape to always look new.
