Florence Bat was a 2023 limited-edition visitor! Sometimes, gliding among the starlit trees, Florence hears the soft wavelets of a forest pool. Ivy Goat was a limited-edition friend who visited the Village from May 2018 to December 2018 When Ivy Goat sees the dewy meadows of spring, she runs to them and does a little dance, waving all of her hooves in the air. Her animal friends copy her dance, because they understand her mood.

Juniper Wolf was a limited-edition friend who visited the Village from July to September of 2020! Most surprisingly gentle of the forest creatures, Juniper roams the high hills and ridges above Hazel Village, camping in lean-tos and dining on forest fruits. But sometimes the thunderstorms of summer get a little too scary for her. So under the full moon, she has trekked into Hazel Village. The animals are sharing their summer feasts and activities with her, and encouraging her to become more brave about thunder.

Jeremy Owl loves to paint portraits of his friends. Usually instead of paper he uses smooth pieces of bark or wood. He can see his work long into the evening because he has superb night vision. He says his favorite color is gray, but if you have a different favorite color he will use it in your portrait. Annicke likes to wake up really early and search the meadow for new mushrooms. Unlike a human, she can tell by scent whether they are poisonous or delicious. She picks a bunch and leaves them on Ella Toad's doorstep, then goes about her business. Then, when Ella wakes up around noon she makes a delicious mushroom omelet, which is Annicke's lunch and Ella's breakfast. In her goosey dreams sometimes she sees places she has traveled - wide lakes the bright blue of cornflowers, fields ragged with stubble and little leftovers of corn. She remembers the cold high wind on her beak and head feathers, and saying HONK! HONK! HONK! to her sisters.

Lucy Owl has developed a regimen of morning exercises that increase upper body strength. Every morning, she does them in the meadow in front of her house. She wants to set a good example for the other animals, because she thinks they're a little spindly. They are not too interested, even though she tells them the better their upper body strength, the better the foraging. Bluebell Pig was a visiting friend from Summer of 2026! Bluebell Pig, when she’s out and about, likes to braid flowers and grasses into little crowns. Sometimes for herself, sometimes for friends when she knows their favorite flower, and sometimes for new friends she doesn’t know yet. Bluebell will arrive at your home swaddled in a complimentary special edition bandana from the time she attended Truffle Fest, the most delicious gathering! Bluebell Pig is handmade from light pink and cocoa brown organic cotton fleece.

Cyril Dragon was a limited-edition visitor for Holiday 2024! In a cloud of smoke and mist, with a “Whoosh!” and a hiss of steam, CYRIL DRAGON alights upon the Hazel Village sledding hill. The woodland friends bring him welcome gifts of tiny posies and a silver spoon that they found in the forest. Cyril declares, “These treasures will be perfect for my hoard. Thank you, friends!” Cyril Dragon is handmade from organic cotton fleece.

Violet Rabbit is a limited-edition animal friend from Spring of 2021! Violet Rabbit wants us to know how high she can hop: higher than the forest fence, higher than the roof of the mini shed, even higher than the berry hedge! How impressive, Violet! Violet Rabbit is made of gray organic cotton fleece, except for her tail which is natural colored fleece. Her ears are lined with cotton shirting. She is stuffed with polyfill. Violet's face is embroidered with cotton embroidery floss. She measures 15" including ears.
