It's a lightweight, breathable four layer mask that includes two sewn-in and reusable filter layers. Why did we choose sewn-in filter layers instead of a user-inserted filter? Because the interior filter layers can be machine washed and machine dried, there’s no need for a separate, removable filter. And, because the filter layers are sewn-in, they cover nearly all of the surface area of the mask and don't slip out of position.
