We Couldn't Resist. Inspired by a favorite Ellsworth Kelly painting, we went to work on this linen interpretation: 1) Cut and serge 64 squares of linen, 2) Place and pin 8 rows of 8 squares together, 3) Sew 49 intersections of 4 corners each – that's 196 corners coming perfectly together! and 4) Sit back and enjoy the feeling of accomplishment. This crazy good endeavor proved well worth the effort, and created an art piece in itself. This pillow is 20" x 20" square with a solid black linen backing.
