The familiar becomes fascinating in Vegetables, a family of four placemats that combine robust and easy-to-clean woven textiles with the vivid precision of digital printing. This special edition began with a visit to NYC’s Union Square Greenmarket, where members of our design team selected a colorful array of farm-fresh produce. Back at the studio, cross-sections of individual vegetables were photographed at close range to reveal intriguing patterns and unexpected forms.
